Based loosely on a classic game called Ascendancy, Dark Galaxy throws players into a vast universe where they must settle and build up an empire of planets. You must choose which players you wish to ally with and which to declare war on. Construct vast fleets and invade distant planets to expand your empire.

In DG you take command of a small planet with an ambitious population. You command what your people should work on to develop your industries. After a while you will be ready to launch into outer space and colonise other planets, expanding your empire and might. Train your population to be your army and build massive warfleets to crush your enemies and aggressively take over their best colonies. Form alliances with your friends to attack and defend together. Fight epic wars against other alliances spanning several galaxies.
